How to autotune a recording and save the result
- Choose a vocal. Open an MP3, WAV, FLAC, or M4A recording. Start with a short solo vocal with little backing music or reverb.
- Check the key and notes. After analysis, check the detected notes and suggested key. Choose the correct key and scale if the suggestion does not fit your accompaniment.
- Correct and compare. Use key-based correction or drag only the notes that are out of tune. Compare a short phrase with the original, then adjust vibrato or formants if needed.
- Apply and download. When you are happy with the preview, press Apply. Once rendering finishes, download the corrected WAV. Keep the original recording too.

What to check when editing pitch
Choosing the wrong key or moving a note to the wrong pitch can change an intentional note. Short detected fragments are not necessarily separate musical notes. Listen to the original and repair only what needs it, without forcing breaths or consonants into notes. This editor is not intended to correct each note of a chord in a finished mix.

What is free, and when do you need an account?
Analyzing, editing, and auditioning notes are separate from applying the correction to the full recording. The free allowances are:

Natural pitch correction or a hard-tuned effect?
For a natural result, make small repairs to the notes that need them and retain the singer’s slides and vibrato. For a hard-tuned effect, set the song key first, then increase correction strength and speed. In both cases, listen with the backing track and check that the words remain clear.
This tool edits recorded vocals. It is not a live microphone autotune plugin, and it does not separate every note of a chord in a finished mix for individual correction.
Getting a cleaner result
- Too many short notes: check for breaths, noise, or reverb and retry with a short, clean vocal.
- Wrong notes against the backing: check the key, scale, and octave detection before increasing correction strength.
- Slow processing: try a shorter excerpt and close unused tabs. Desktop Chrome or Edge is a useful starting point for detailed note editing.
Does the pitch editor upload my recording?
Vocal analysis and Lyra HQ pitch processing in this tool run in your browser. Downloading a model for the first use needs a connection. Choosing cloud saving or a separate generation tool can send data to a server for that feature.
