Prepare Lyria 3 Pro music for an editing workflow
Separate Google’s announced capabilities from the practical checks needed before editing a generated track.
On March 25, 2026, Google announced Lyria 3 Pro with generation up to three minutes, structural awareness, and availability across several products. These are announcement-time capabilities. Plan the structure first
For a video, outline the opening, explanatory section, and ending. Decide where speech needs fewer instruments before generating. Do not assume the output will exactly match requested durations or structure.
Check the whole output
Listen for sudden key or tempo changes, unwanted singing, and a truncated ending. Mark editing points and preserve the source before making changes.
Bring permitted files into a DAW
Import a file you are allowed to download and use. Tempo analysis is an estimate, so check beat alignment in several sections. Begin with levels, fades, and cuts. Separation can provide editing parts, but does not reconstruct the original generation session.
Keep services distinct
This does not mean LA Studio's Music Generator uses Lyria 3 Pro. Google generation and LA Studio editing are separate operations. Check source usage terms and publication requirements, and keep source and edited files separately.
