For conversion, prepare an authorized dry vocal and preserve versions before and after preprocessing. Check consonants, breaths, and sustained notes before returning it to the mix so you can identify where artifacts arose.
Keep the original and compare the same passage at similar playback levels. Record the plan, processing mode, device, and changed settings so you can repeat the comparison.
